Zacky is 15 months

He was not a happy camper today at his dr. appointment....
3 shots and lots of tears... tough one!

His favorite things to do now include:
- watching his brother and being anywhere he can be near him
- dive bombing into pillows and blankets
- dancing
- smiling and laughing
- throwing anything he can get his hands on
- playing with balls

He has 6 teeth and his words are: ball, momma, Be (Ben), dada (papa), moo, and a slew of other non understandable language-type words. :)

He is a total delight and so fun to be with... the boys are playing together more and more and Bedn is a fantastic big brother - lots of love - all the time!

St. Patty's Day

We spent the weekend with our family (cousins and aunties & uncles) in Los Angeles last weekend for st. Patty's day... the kiddos have all bonded so sweetly and have lots of love for one another. They play from sun up to sun down and it's such a great feeling to have them connected. The pictures speak for themselves... was so fun!

President's Day Mini-Golf Adventure

Steve and I both took off Presidents Day and we took the boys on their first mini golf adventure... Golf 'n Stuff in Ventura. The classic Karate Kid mini golfing place... remember in the movie when they went on the date to mini golfing? Ya, that's this place! Anyway... it was pretty much pure chaos as the pictures portray... we had fun in spite of Mr. Zack pretty much constantly chasing and picking up the balls... Ben was pretty darn good!

Bye Bye Grammy & Poptop

As my parents have been doing every year since Ben was born, they again came out and "wintered" here with us in California staying at their amazing condo in Carpinteria, California (see view from their living room below)... we had such a great time and it's wonderful to have them here with us and the boys for an extended time... the boys love having their grammy & poptop around and we love having the help with the kids (and the yummy food and babysitting for free)! Thanks mom and dad for everything... can't wait til next winter!! :)

The Holidaze

We had a great Chrismas Eve & Day here in Santa Barbara... mainly because my parents and brother were able to be here from Minnesota, which was great... however, for them, celebrating on the beach at sunset in 65 degree weather seemed odd, but we loved having them with us and celebrating here this year. Christmas Eve was spent watching the beautiful sun set over the Pacific and then eating together a delicious Christmas Eve Dinner at The Boathouse... after that, we drove around a bit and looked at Christmas lights, headed back to our house to open a few gifts, eat a yummy dessert and watch The Polar Express. So fun! Christmas morning came early with presents, breakfast, lots of coffee and Steve's family joining us for lunch and more presents and food -- it was awesome to have both sides of our family here and all of us hanging out in the California sunshine!
