Lauren

Lauren has been in our lives since Ben was 3 months old -- we found her, adored her, and hired her! She spent many days and hours with Ben while I was getting back into work and we quickly realized that she was a perfect fit for our family and for Ben.
They formed a special relationship that we all appreciated... Bennie would have a huge smile on his face the second he saw Lauren at the door....

Pehaps it was the way she made him laugh...

Or the way she trimmed his nails & toes... (We left this task to her... she was an expert!)

Or the way that they would send emails together...

Or even how she would help around the house... like empty the dishwasher or pick up the random lizard that Myko our cat would bring home... (yes, that is a lizard in her hand)

We were really fortunate to find someone that was not only great with Ben but someone that we enjoyed having around too. Saturday was her last day with us... and although we will miss her immensely, we wish her so much luck (as if she needs it - she's brilliant) as she goes off to continue her quest towards her education. We miss you already Lauren! :) We know you'll be back up here this summer & look forward to seeing you again soon!

As for Ben...he has moved onto School! We are fortunate to have access to the very exclusive & amazing childcare system at Cottage Hospital where Steve works. This place is so stellar... he loves it and it's awesome to drop him off & know that he's being really well cared for in our absence.
