I couldn't resist putting this picture up - at some point in his life,
he will cringe at this, but it's too cute not to share!
We considered sending out our annual Caputo Family holiday letter and then we realized that we would keep with our theme and stay digital! What would we share that hasn't been highlighted on the blog? Not much… after all it's Ben's world & we are just living in it! It's been such a joy to watch him learn & grow this year... it's amazing how fast he's changing... he can now tell us what a cow, duck, snake, lion, monkey, frog and goldfish say... (for goldfish, he darts his tongue in & out - thanks daddy for teaching him that one)!
Actually there are a few things that we can tell you that you haven't read about during the year… here are some highlights...
Sara's business Radiant Organizing is doing awesome! She has helped a lot of families & businesses this year and has continued to do teaching and training for local companies. She has also done a lot of writing this year for her profession and areas of expertise. She is the “Productivity Guru” for a website called Office Arrow and writes for her own blog… check it out! There is a great letter from a family on her site that was affected by the local Tea Fire and they were thankful that they had spent time with Sara to get organized so they could find everything they needed when they needed to evacuate! Additionally she has been interviewed numerous times for different magazines and publications. Check her blog regularly to see where she has popped up. Now how's that for a shameless plug? :)
Steve continues to work for Cottage Hospital. This next year his role will focus exclusively on Organizational Development so he is excited. There is nothing more that excites him than to work on projects that help individuals, departments, and the entire system grow and learn. Lots of fun projects will be coming to fruition over the next several months. On top of all that he has taken up running and ran the Santa Barbara Half Marathon pushing Ben in his "Bob" stroller on Ben’s first birthday. Ben is a great coach. If Steve has gotten into a comfortable pace Ben throws something out that causes him to have to quickly alter his route to pick it up, or he likes to sing if he is going to slow. Lots of fun!
Well it's hard to miss much. After all Sara has done a great job keeping everyone informed of what's happening… can you believe she has posted 114 times for 2008 and we still have 12 days left!?!?
