She has camps, does day classes with kids and runs a particularly interesting class called Multigenerational. She has been inviting Ben and I to come for a while and it's just never worked out with timing and school and work and life. Lucky for us, it worked last Thursday and we got to go to a local nursing home where the class was being held. Her goal is to get all ages to create together so she brings in kiddos of all ages to interact and "play" with the older folk.
Ben was in heaven. He loved it. He especially took to a 102-year old fella named "Rolo". I'm sure Rolo was quite a character back in the day -- he allowed Ben to keep putting glitter all over his arms. What a guy.
It was so fun and interesting to watch the kids and the residents be together - singing, painting, playing games and learning from one another. We will definitely be back!
So many cute shots, but below are my favorite - along with a video!
