Touch a Truck!

We were invited by our dear friends in Thousand Oaks, The Bridges to join them for the annual "Touch a Truck" event. Not really knowing about this event, but loving them, wanting to see them and knowing how much our child loves trucks, we knew this was going to be a win-win day for all.

WOW! Can I just say that this might have been the best thing we've done with Ben since he was born? It was AMAZING! Every type of emergency vehicle, service vehicle, recreational vehicle and just about anything you see in the sky, on the roads, in the ditches, etc was present at this event. The kids were able to get in the trucks, honk horns, drive, push buttons, meet the drivers and get goodies (UPS erasers, Fed Ex pencils, Garbage men stickers, etc, etc, etc). Ben's personal favorites were: The UPS truck, cement mixer, fire truck (got to spray the hose - see pic below), and of course..... the TRASH TRUCK! (he literally couldn't contain himself when he saw the trash truck - imagine how he felt driving it & honking the horn!)

Words don't really do it justice - here's some shots of the day. Thanks Bridges- we loved seeing you, lunching & hanging with you and we'll definitely be back next year to attend again! :)
